About Us
Steve Semmens is Managing Director of Semmens Executive Recruitment. In this role, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of the recruitment and hiring process. Specifically, Steve specialises in strategic recruitment, staff retention consulting, and executive and management searches.
His prime area of strength lies in building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. He has an aptitude for sensing talent and has led searches for high-level and hard-to-find candidates. He has developed specific long-term programs to ensure Semmens Executive Recruitment attracts high-level and specialised staff in a competitive recruiting market.
Steve graduated from the University of Western Sydney, Nepean in 1993 with a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. He is currently Vice President of the Society of Business Communicators and Treasurer of National Speakers Association of Australia.
He has held various senior positions within a range of industries including IT, retail, insurance, transport, government and recruitment.
